Tim Walz Fries JD Vance While Buying Doughnuts — Without Even Saying His Name

Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Walz appeared to mock his Republican counterpart JD Vance while picking up doughnuts on the campaign trail.

Vance last week drew mockery for that awkward interaction with staff at a doughnut shop in Georgia. On Wednesday, it was Walz’s turn to pick up some of the tasty treats at Cherry Hill Orchards and Farm in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

Walz joked with staff about having a balanced diet before seemingly throwing back to Vance’s excruciating moment by saying: “I said, ‘Look at me, I have no problem picking out doughnuts and things so...’”

The quip was shared on social media by the Kamala Harris-Tim Walz campaign.

Walz has made mocking comments about Vance on various previous occasions, poking fun at that debunked couch story and repeatedly summing up Vance and GOP nominee Donald Trump with one word: “weird.”
