Tom Brady, who won seven Super Bowls as a quarterback, notched a super clunky moment early in his debut Sunday as an NFL analyst for Fox. (Watch the video below.)

In the first half of the Dallas Cowboys-Cleveland Browns game, play-by-play man Kevin Burkhardt introduced rules expert Mike Pereira. Brady reached out for a fist bump, but Pereira had turned away and apparently didn’t notice the gesture.

Brady kept his fist extended. “Don’t leave me hanging,” the former New England Patriots superstar said.

After an awkward pause, Pereira finally bumped back. “So good to be back with you guys,” Pereira said.

Brady, who signed a reported 10-year, $375 million contract with the network,  received mixed reviews in his premiere . He wasn’t helped by a lopsided 33-17 Cowboys victory that robbed the game of drama.
