Donald Trump Jr. Flamed For Weird Flex About His Dad And The 'McDonald's Menu'

Donald Trump Jr. served up a hilarious nugget for critics when he boasted that his dad is more familiar with the McDonald’s menu than Vice President Kamala Harris is.

“I think my father knows the McDonald’s menu better than Kamala Harris ever did,” former President Donald Trump’s son told Fox News’ Jesse Watters on Wednesday night.

“I wish Bret would’ve asked which McDonald’s she worked at, because she’ll just tell you whatever you wanna hear to seem relatable and likable,” he added, referring to the Democratic nominee’s interview with Fox News anchor Bret Baier.

Harris has spoken about working a summer job at McDonald’s in Alameda, in San Francisco’s Bay Area, in 1983. Donald Trump seems obsessed with the detail, repeatedly bringing it up and insisting it’s false. (There’s no evidence that Harris never worked there, but it’s been difficult to verify either way given it was more than 40 years ago).

The Republican nominee is so bothered by it, apparently, he’s been saying he’s going to “work the French fry job” at a McDonald’s sometime soon. A source told CNN that’s supposed to happen this weekend .

Donald Trump has a long-documented love of fast food , particularly McDonald’s.

Social media users told Trump Jr. his claim was, for once, pretty easy to believe. And kind of a weird flex.
