GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump drew fierce criticism after he likened the United States to “a garbage can” during his latest anti-immigrant rant at a rally in Tempe, Arizona.

“We’re like a garbage can for the world. That’s what’s happened. That’s what’s happened to our … we’re like a garbage can,” the former president said Thursday.

“You know, it’s the first time I’ve ever said that,” Trump claimed. “Every time I come up and talk about what they’ve done to our country, I get angrier and angrier. First time I’ve ever said garbage can, but you know what? It’s a very accurate description.”

    Watch from 1:40:00 here:

Trump has vowed to conduct mass deportations if he wins back the White House and previously said immigration is “poisoning the blood” of America. His first administration pursued a decidedly anti-immigration agenda.

Former Trump White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci ripped Trump’s new line of attack as yet “more fascist language.”

MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell, meanwhile, sardonically noted Trump was the “1st presidential candidate to call USA ‘a garbage can.’”

    Others were equally angered:
