    Charles County Sheriff’s Office seeking assistance in locating Hughesville suspect

    CHARLES COUNTY, Md. ( DC News Now ) — The Charles County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) said it was seeking the public’s assistance in locating a Hughesville woman in connection with a home invasion, armed robbery and first-degree assault.

    The suspect, 27-year-old Danielle Sicam Alicka of Hughesville, is accused of forcing her way into a Waldorf home on May 1 and assaulting several victims with a handgun, according to CCSO.

    Police said one of the victims was shot in the hand before Alicka fled the scene. Multiple items were reported stolen.

    Alicka is known to frequent the Charles, Calvert and St. Mary’s County areas. A cash reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for any information that leads to Alicka’s arrest.
