Monticello celebrates launch of new Fitness Court with ribbon cutting ceremony
MVP Health Care, Monticello Central School District (Monticello CSD) and National Fitness Campaign (NFC) launched an outdoor Fitness Court® at Monticello High School earlier today with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The MVP Health Care Fitness Court will now provide the campus and greater Monticello community with increased access to outdoor exercise programs. Sparta Township Council Narrowly Approves 1st Reading of Funding for Master Plan Review
SPARTA, NJ – The first reading of an ordinance to fund the master plan review narrowly passed after much discussion. Ordinance 24-08 was opposed by Josh Hertzberg, supported by Mayor Neill Clark, Deputy Mayor Dean Blumetti and Councilman Dan Chiariello. Councilwoman Christine Quinn abstained. The ordinance provides $300,000 to fund a subcommittee of the Sparta Planning Board to undertake a complete review of the township’s master plan.
