You might notice over the next couple of days that the sky is a bit hazy and has a grayish-white color to it. That’s because we’re still dealing with wildfire smoke in our upper atmosphere from Canadian and western wildfires. While this smoke will give us vibrant colors in our sunrises/sunsets and hazy skies during the day, it will stay thin and elevated through the weekend. Mostly cloudy skies linger through the overnight hours as lows drop into the upper 60s and low 70s. A few scattered showers are expected to form late tonight and early Sunday morning.
