Another Section of Main Street to be Closed in Knoxville Next Week
Another section of Main Street will be closed in Knoxville next week. This closure will be on Main Street from Attica Rd. to 7th St. for a private sewer repair. The closure is expected to last until Friday, August 30th. Other road construction continues to be ongoing throughout the city as part of the Street Improvement Project. Knoxville City Manager Heather Ussery encourages the community to remain patient with all of the construction going on, and to still support local businesses that are being affected.

With Meet the Players night having come and gone, the Wildcat cross country team prepares for their first meet of the season scheduled for Thursday, August 29th. The Wildcats will travel to Gowrie, to the Gowrie Municipal Golf Course to take on the host school Southeast Valley, ACGC, Ar-We-Va, East Sac County, Fort Dodge, Greene County, Madrid, Manson-NW Webster, Newell-Fonda, OABCIG, Panorama, Perry, South Central Calhoun, Southeast Valley, St. Edmond, West Bend-Mallard, and the Woodward Academy.

Meet the Players Night At WCV
Wildcat football and volleyball are in scrimmage action today for Meet the Players night at West Central Valley. The volleyball action begins at 3PM, followed by a free will donation fun zone for kids at the baseball and softball field, and a parade of athletes for all the fall activities before the football scrimmage against the Madrid Tigers at 7PM. After the football scrimmage, there will be a foam party for everyone in attendance.
