WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - One man was critically injured after his north Wichita apartment caught fire Saturday morning. The Wichita Fire Department confirmed crews were dispatched to an apartment complex in the 2700 block of N. Amidon just before 10 a.m.They arrived to find light smoke coming from the apartment. When they got inside, they found a dresser on fire and a handicapped man on the floor.
Smoke continues to billow from smoldering Shawnee landfill
SHAWNEE, Kan. (KCTV) - While smoke may still be seen billowing from a landfill in Shawnee, crews have been working throughout the day to extinguish the blaze.
