Former WVU hooper returns to The Mountain State to continue collegiate career
Former WVU basketball player Taj Thweatt is a New Jersey native, but something about West Virginia seems to speak to him. Thweatt spent two seasons in Morgantown from 2020-2022 playing under Bob Huggins, where he averaged 0.6 points per game during the stint. He would leave the program and transfer closer to his New Jersey home, spending two seasons in Philadelphia playing for the Temple Owls.
