The Kahala, located in buzzing Yokohama, is the perfect family getaway for great food and sights. We loved the Hawaiian themed hotel with a grand lobby, warm welcoming team, and decadent bedrooms complete with stunning views. Our family stayed in the spacious and accommodating Kahala Grand Rooms which featured sumptuous gigantic beds, a sleek spa like bathroom, and beautiful views of the harbour.

We made full use of their swimming pool and spa and loved the varied traditional Japanese breakfasts each morning. Those who want to sample a traditional Japanese dinner should head to Hanagotomi for classic flavours and beautifully presented set menus.

We also highly recommend the grand afternoon tea set and grabbing a whiskey at their ambient lounge bar. The hotel is optimally located for sightseeing and just a short walk from the iconic Cup Noodle Museum, fun filled Cosmo World, and a plethora of shopping malls and local eats. You are also within easy reach of Yokohama’s famous Chinatown and the tranquil waterfront.
