The beautifully designed property features modern architecture and classic Japanese details alongside five star guest rooms and unparalleled views. Our modern Deluxe Twin Room was an ideal spot to unwind showcasing floor to ceiling windows and mountain views, a decadently deep bathtub, and sumptuous beds. We made full use of the Wellness Spa, stayed fit in the fully equipped fitness centre, and found respite in the refreshing thermal outdoor pool.

Their restaurant, TENJIN, served a mouthwatering Japanese and Western breakfast each morning and we highly recommend sampling their French influenced a la carte menu for a delicious dining experience during your stay.

ROKU is just a short walk from the Golden Pavilion, one of Kyoto’s most sought after cultural sites. Our family enjoyed escaping the buzzing city streets and unwinding during our staying at the serene and memorable ROKU KYOTO during our visit to Japan.

TENJIN

TENJIN, located in ROKU KYOTO, is an elegant and stylish restaurant serving mouthwatering French influenced fare. The all day dining establishment features an unbeatable breakfast buffet and a delicious a la carte menu comprised of beautifully presented dishes and the freshest local ingredients. We loved sampling the indulgent course menu during our stay.

Highlights included the Instant smoked triped jack with Chevre cheese, the fragrant Amadai with Garland chrysanthemum and Dried mullet roe, the juicy Kyoto duck with Carrot, Kaffir lime and Salmis sauce, and the insanely tender Wagyu beef tenderloin with Sansho pepper and Grand-mère.

Make sure to check out their happy hour and impressive list of sakes and wines which pair perfectly with the intricate menu. A must dine spot when staying at the luxury hotel.
