    AZEKURA

We had an unforgettable mouthwatering dinner at AZEKURA, JW Marriott Hotel Nara’s signature Japanese restaurant. The authentic eatery serves Teppanyaki, Sushi and Kaiseki in separate dining areas and ensure guests an intimate and traditional Japanese experience.

Our family were seated in an ambient private dining room to sample the chef’s mouthwatering kaisieki menu. Utilising fresh high quality ingredients and intricate techniques we were treated to one of our favourite Japanese meals during our trip.

Highlights included the flavourful Deep Fried Fish and Vegetables, the tender Japanese Kuroge Beef Sirloin, and delicate 5 pieces of assorted sushi.

Each bite was bursting with flavour and we truly enjoyed the traditional dining style. Make sure to pair your dinner with a wine or sake from their impressive selection for the ideal dinner in Nara.

    SILK ROAD

SILK ROAD, JW Marriott Hotel Nara’s all day dining destination is the perfect spot to enjoy fusion western fare. The talented chefs carefully select fresh ingredients from Nara and around the world, using local and international techniques to fuse the best of Eastern and Western cuisines in an open kitchen.

We loved the varied and abundant buffet breakfast each morning allowing us to sample a wide array of traditional Japanese fare and the mouthwatering a la carte menu sure to please all foodies.

We highly recommend the Chef’s Dinner Course, highlights of which included the fragrant Fresh Fish Tartare, juicy Wagyu Sirloin Steak with Silk Road Style Cafe de Paris Butter, and sweet and tart Pummarsala Wine Sable Breton Amarena Cherry desser.

Our children couldn’t get enough of the comforting pasta options and healthy and tempting kids plates. A perfect choice for dining with family and friends in a sleek and stylish setting during your stay in Nara.
