The U.S. Attorney for the Western District of New York, Trini E. Ross, has made an announcement regarding the sentencing of Victor Marshall. Marshall, a 51-year-old resident of Buffalo, NY, was found guilty of multiple charges including possession with the intention to distribute and distribute cocaine, as well as being a felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition. As a result, U.S. District Judge Richard J. Arcara has sentenced Marshall to serve a total of 156 months in prison. This ruling comes as a significant outcome in the pursuit of justice for these serious offenses committed by Marshall.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Pierre Richard Antoine, who is overseeing the case, explained that back in June 2014, Marshall received a prison sentence of 130 months and was placed on five years' supervised release after being found guilty of participating in a conspiracy to distribute 500 grams or more of cocaine. As part of the conditions for his supervised release, Marshall was explicitly prohibited from engaging in any further federal, state, or local criminal activities. However, in March 2022, Marshall was formally charged by a federal grand jury with drug and firearm offenses. Subsequently, he admitted to committing the actions outlined in the indictment, thereby violating the terms of his supervised release.

The sentencing comes as a consequence of an inquiry conducted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, led by Special Agent-in-Charge Matthew Miraglia. This investigation has culminated in the determination of a sentence for the individuals involved.
