Michael Dayshawn Harris, alias "Polo," a 30-year-old resident of Detroit, Michigan, has entered a guilty plea today for the offense of distributing a substance consisting of methamphetamine and fentanyl.

As per court records and statements presented during the court proceedings, on October 6, 2022, Harris sold around 29 grams of methamphetamine and an undisclosed amount of fentanyl to a confidential source in Huntington. Harris not only confessed to the sale but also admitted to organizing the transaction after receiving a call from the informant earlier that day.

Harris, who is set to receive his sentence on September 30, 2024, may face a maximum punishment of 20 years in prison, as well as at least three years of supervised release and a fine of $1 million.

Desmond Devon Magee, also known as "Rich," Harris's co-defendant from Detroit, was convicted and sentenced on May 22, 2023. Magee pleaded guilty to the distribution of a quantity of a substance that included methamphetamine. As a result, he was handed a four-year prison sentence, followed by three years of supervised release.

The announcement regarding these sentences was made by United States Attorney Will Thompson, who also acknowledged the diligent investigative efforts of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Cabell County Sheriff's Department.
