Joel Zimba is stepping down as the Verona Area High School Director of Athletics after being hired for an athletic administrative role at the University of Evansville. Evansville announced on social media on Wednesday, July 17, the hiring of Zimba as executive deputy athletic director for external relations. Zimba spent five years as the Verona AD.
