Update: Tornado warning issued for Huntingdon County early Saturday evening
On Saturday at 4:03 p.m. the National Weather Service issued an updated tornado warning in effect until 4:30 p.m. for Huntingdon County. “At 4:02 p.m., a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over Franklinville, moving east at 30 mph,” states the weather service. “Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely.”
