A  Huntington diner that displays images of Israeli hostages is the subject of a GoFundMe campaign after its windows were damaged.

Peter Tsadilas, owner of the Golden Globe Diner on Main Street, put up dozens of flyers for the Israelis taken hostage when Hamas attacked Israeli in October. An estimated 116 hostages remain in captivity.

The flyers line the windows facing out onto Main Street.

Suffolk County police said it was looking into the window damage but has not yet determined whether it resulted from criminal activity.

“The Golden Globe Diner in Huntington has repeatedly been targeted since showing support for Israel and the hostages taken after October 7. Last week, the front windows, which display hostage posters, were shattered. Peter Tsadilas, the owner, has been nothing short of kind, gracious, and resilient through this whole situation. Let’s help Peter replace the window and enhance his security cameras,” the campaign organizers, Peter Klein and Jaime Schaefer, said.
