Board OKs Musicfest, National Night Out and Other Events

The Huntington Town Board recently approved contracts or scheduling for the following events:

National Night Out, Manor Field Park, Aug. 6.

Summer Family Festival , Breezy Park, Aug. 8-11. New event. Rides, games, music, food, special attractions. Newton Show rides. Sponsored by the Huntington Human Services Institute.

Huntington Lighthouse Musicfest , harbor, Aug. 31. Musicians play atop the Huntington Lighthouse, with audience gathered on boats in Huntington Harbor.

East Northport Festival , John J. Walsh Memorial Park , sponsored by the East Northport Chamber of Commerce.  Sept. 6-8. Rides, games, vendors, food trucks.

Country concert , Centerport Beach , sponsored by the Centerport Fire Department, Sept. 28. Featuring County Line and Southbound.

In addition, the second annual food truck rodeo and car show is scheduled for Aug. 11 to benefit Pop Earth. Sponsored by the Sorrentino Family Foundation, Empire Toyota and The Rust and Gold.
