    Kenney Grant, Founder of Gino’s, dies

    CABELL COUNTY, WV (WOWK) — William “Kenney” Grant, the founder of local pizza chain, Gino’s Pizza & Spaghetti House, has died, according to Beard Mortuary. He was 94.

    Grant was born on June 5, 1930. Instead of flowers, his obituary page says to donate to the Marshall Artist Series . According to Beard Mortuary, services and burial for Grant will be private.

    Diana Sturm, Grant’s daughter, told 13 News her father, “Cared about Huntington, and he just loved working.”

    Gino’s was founded in 1961 and has since opened dozens of locations across the state of West Virginia.
