    Scores of senior citizens enjoyed Senior Senior prom Thursday at the John J. Flanagan center, dancing and dining away the afternoon filled with glamor and fun.

    The prom went on with the help of the Human Services Division, Parks Department  BOCES students who provided free hair and makeup services, Suffolk County police,  the Facebook community group Huntington Matters, and many businesses that donated goods to the event,.

    Council members Sal Ferro and Dr. Dave Bennardo cosponsored the event; Parks Director Todd Jamison and Deputy Director Walter Edwards, and human services director Kevin Thorbourne, tax collector Jillian Guthman  were among those who participated in the event.
