El Sueño restaurant in Huntington Station is reopening, with a shift in cuisine.

Ever Chavez said the restaurant, at 1711 New York Ave., has shifted from a Mexican to a Honduran menu. That means such dishes as Honduran baleadas, tortillas covered in refried black beans and topped with a bit of white farmer’s cheese, and folded like a taco.

Chavez said that he and his family are running the new restaurant together, which will be open from 10 a.m.-10 p.m. six days a week, for now.

He previously ran the Las Lajas deli on Depot Road in Huntington Station.
