Work to Close LIE-Route 110 Interchange Thursday Overnight

Bridge work will close lanes at the Long Island Expressway-Route 100 interchange Thursday night, the state Department of Transportation said Wednesday.

Weather permitting, the maintenance work on the bridge will mean:

• The center and right lanes on the northbound State Route 110 will be closed at the bridge over the Long Island Expressway.
• The Exit 49N exit ramp from the eastbound LIE to the northbound State Route 110 will be closed. Motorists should use Exit 49S and proceed on the South Service Road for access to northbound State Route 110.

Closures will begin at 10 p.m. and conclude at 5 a.m. on Friday morning.
