Service to Commemorate Those Lost on Sept. 11 Scheduled at Heckscher Park

The Town of Huntington will commemorate those lost in the Sept. 11, 2001 terror attacks with a service on Sept. 7 at Heckscher Park.

The public is invited to join Huntington Town Supervisor Ed Smyth, town officials, members of the Huntington Veterans Advisory Board, and veterans of all wars, for the memorial service at noon.

The service will be close to the town’s 9/11 memorial, which was dedicated Sept. 11, 2006.
