A driving instructor was arrested Saturday morning and charged with forcibly touching a student earlier this month.

Arrested by Suffolk County police was Arnold Stecker, an employee of Fitzgerald Driving School, on charges that he touched one of his students during a lesson on Friday when they were stopped on Kenilworth Drive, East Northport. The incident occurred about 8:30 p.m., police said.

Following an investigation by the Second Squad, Stecker, 72, of 163 Southern Boulevard, Hauppauge, was charged with Forcible Touching. He was to be held overnight and is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on Sunday.

Detectives are asking anyone with additional information or if you believe you are a victim to call the Second Squad at 631-854-8252.
