    The Greenlawn Pickle Festival returns on Saturday for its 44th year, with a promise of more foods, new vendors and more. Sponsored by the Greenlawn Centerport Historical Association, the festival will run from 10 a.m.-4 p.m., John Gardiner Farm,900 Park Ave.,  Huntington.

    Health and Church Fair

    The First Presbyterian Church of Greenlawn is hosting a church fair and health fair Saturday.

    Raffles, Food, Live Music, various vendors, church items for sale; the health fair will include representatives of the Northport VA Center, audiologist, Huntington Hospital and others.

    About #MeToo

    An interactive art installment, “Don’t Tell: The #MeToo Art of Helen Murdock- Prep ” will feature a chance to meet the artist, a panel discussion and a candlelight vigil this weekend. The reception, at the Huntington Arts Council is Friday from 5-8 p.m.; the panel discussion is Saturday at 1 p.m., with the president of S.E.S.A.M.E. Terri L. Miller, Dr. Charol Shakeshaft, Dr. Billie-Jo Grant and the artist, and the vigil Saturday at 6:30 p.m.

    Cow Harbor in Northport

    Runners and their supporters will flood Northport for the Great Cow Harbor 10K Run on Saturday, followed on Sunday by Cow Harbor Day.

    The prestigious 10k race draws 5,000 runners for the USATF 10K National Championship; there’s also a 2K Fun Run/Walk.

    Using the theme “Iconic Northport,”  Cow Harbor Day will start Sunday with a parade at noon from the Brosnan building, proceeding to Main Street lined with artisan and business vendors,  music  performed in the gazebo, visit and decorated boats and boat race.

    Touch a Truck at the Mall

    A touch a truck at Walt Whitman Shops on Saturday is free but donations of nonperishable food items are welcome. The event runs from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.; the first hour will be sensory friendly, with no horns allowed.

    Poetry and Bridgerton Ball

    The Walt Whitman Birthplace Association is busy Saturday, offering a Zoom poetry reading from noon to 2 p.m. and a Bridgerton-themed Ball from 5 -8 p.m.
