    Couple Collecting Supplies to Deliver to North Carolina

    Two former long-time residents of Huntington are planning to drive a truckload of supplies to North Carolina to assist residents hit hard by Hurricane Helene .

    Donations can be dropped off at Helping Hand Rescue Mission, 225 Broadway, Huntington Station, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. on Thursday and Friday. Donations should be marked for North Carolina.

    Susan and Lawrence Zagorski, who now live in North Carolina, plan to drive their pickup truck to western North Carolina on Saturday.

    Please check the flyer carefully for a list of supplies that are most needed. For questions, contact the mission at 631 351-6996.
