Meet Yoda! News 19’s adoptable pet of the week!

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. ( WHNT ) — Say hello to a dog that has been waiting for his forever home for a year!

Yoda was brought into the Greater Huntsville Human Society a year ago. Yoda is a large, active and loving dog that enjoys meeting new people, hanging out at community events and playing with the staff and volunteers in the shelter fields.

Yoda tends to get overexcited when someone tries to leash him up, but he’s getting better! He weighs at 80-pounds and loves leaning into his human friends and resting his head on their laps. He does well with dogs that can match his energy, but not so much with cats or smaller animals.

All Yoda needs is a little training and a home and he can become the dog your your dreams!
