1 killed, 1 injured in crash on Bankhead Parkway in Huntsville

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — One person was killed in a crash that happened on Saturday afternoon.

According to HEMSI spokesperson Don Webster, the crash took place along Bankhead Parkway on Monte Sano Mountain around 1:40 p.m.

Webster tells News 19 that one person was pronounced dead on the scene and one person was transported to Huntsville Hospital Trauma Services for treatment of their injuries.

Huntsville Fire and Rescue along with Madison County Rescue squads also assisted during the crash.
