    POWER RESTORED: Huntsville Utilities restore power in New Market, Hazel Green areas

    HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — Huntsville Utilities crews say power has been restored after a large outage Monday morning.

    Huntsville Utilities says the power outage affected residents from the Tennessee state line south to Winchester Road. It also affects from Highway 231/431 east to Winchester Road.

    Around 9:15 a.m., Huntsville Utilities reported that power was restored. The company says a garbage truck snagged a low-hanging phone line on Beth Road which caused a primary power line to be pulled down.

    Any customers in the area that are still without power should report it by calling (256) 535-4448.
