    POLICE: 22-year-old man facing capital murder charge after 2022 shooting

    HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — A man is now facing a capital murder charge related to an incident that happened nearly two years ago.

    HPD says that Isaiah Nicholas Henry, 22, was booked into the Madison County Jail for capital murder on July 19, shortly before 10 a.m.

    Decatur Police arrest woman after stabbing incident

    According to the Huntsville Police Department (HPD), officers responded to a burglary/robbery situation on Judith Lane on August 22, 2022, shortly after 3 a.m.

    HPD told News 19 that during the robbery, three suspects were shot. According to officers, the incident was believed to be drug-related, and that the suspects and victim knew one another.

    Police said following the incident that three juveniles were arrested and charged with first-degree burglary, and the three other offenders who were in the hospital would face the same charge when they were released.

    One of the suspects in the robbery died from their injuries at a later time. Since the suspect died from injuries stemming from actions related to a crime, Henry is charged with capital murder.

    Henry was charged with homicide capital murder during a robbery and was given a $60,000 bond.
