You’ll need an umbrella if you’re heading out in the morning. We’ll have patchy fog, temperatures in the 70s and some rain around. Once the early round of rain clears the area, it’s possible we see renewed storm development in the afternoon.

Storms will be capable of gusty winds, frequent lightning and torrential rainfall that could lead to localized flooding or flash flooding.

Precipitable water values are above two inches on model data which is around the daily maximum of climatology for the day. Precipitable water is the total amount of moisture throughout the atmosphere. Think of it like a sponge that’s soaked with water and wringing it out of all its moisture. High precipitable water values can lead to flash flooding. It’s something we’re continuing to track through the week.
