Stacy Torian-Batts jailed after drunkenly pulling on car doors in Walmart parking lot with 5-year-old child
36-year-old Stacy Torian-Batts was seen publicly intoxicated at Walmart on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard on August 3rd. The store employees reported seeing a woman and a child walking through the parking lot. They added that the woman was pulling on random car door handles. When officers arrived on the scene, they made contact with Batts and her five-year-old daughter. Officers observed Batts pulling on the handles of a vehicle, and when asked what she was doing, Batts stated that she was looking for her keys.

Nashville man with Down syndrome battles illness in ICU, family launches GoFundMe
NASHVILLE, Tenn.--The family of a young Nashville man with Down syndrome is now facing another battle as their son fights off illness at a local ICU. Max Hulan was born with rare genetic conditions, Down syndrome, pulmonary artesia, and pulmonary stenosis according to a GoFundMe launched by the family. The fundraiser adds given his lungs are extremely weak on a regular day, his current battle with pneumonia is now taking a "huge" toll on his body.

Rock Harbor Marina Rezoning Plan Receives Unanimous Approval In Nashville.
In a unanimous decision, the Metropolitan Planning Commission has approved a rezoning plan to continue the revitalization of Nashville’s landmark Rock Harbor Marina. With the approval of its SP (“specific plan”) zoning, marina owner Prescott Group will move forward with its plan to introduce new amenities to the neighborhood. Rock Harbor Marina is situated in the Charlotte Park neighborhood, adjacent to The Nations, and 10 minutes to Downtown Nashville. The marina is located at 525 Basswood Avenue; Mile Marker 175 on the Cumberland River.
