Radford Receives Grant for VCI Site
Radford, VA – The City of Radford was recently awarded a $3.5 million grant from the Virginia Business Ready Site Program for their VCI property located on West Main Street. According to the Governor of Virginia’s press release, the program is administered by the Virginia Economic Development Partnership in collaboration with localities, utilities, and state agencies “to fund infrastructure improvements that build operations-ready sites for employers and manufacturers ready to expand in the Commonwealth”.

Caesars Virginia Revenue Dips Slightly for Second Month in a Row in July
Revenue at the Danville Casino dipped slightly for the second month in a row in July down to just over $18.8 million. The casino made $19.2 million in June. Just under $14.4 million of the revenue came from slots and over $4.4 million came from table games. Of the three casinos in Virginia, Caesars Virginia was second in revenue in July behind Rivers Casino Portsmouth at just under $25.7 million and ahead of Hard Rock Bristol at over $14.8 million.
