    New Pitt State Women’s Soccer Program Adds 8 Transfers

    PITTSBURG, KS – Pitt State women’s soccer announced eight transfers will be headed to join head coach Wes Branstetter’s new program.

    Adriana Delgado, Abby Light, and Karsen Lynch will make up the group that’s staying close to home. Delgado would play at Hutchinson Community College, where she would score 19 goals in her two seasons. Light, a defender, would start in 11 of 26 matches at William Jewell. Lynch will come in as a midfielder from MIAA conference rival Rogers State.

    Macy Clements, Sailor Jensen, Dylan Ehegartner, Avianna Gonzalez, and Abby Williams will be coming from schools further nationally.

    Clements, a goalkeeper and Jensen, a defender, both come from Utah State – Eastern. Ehegartner and Gonzalez both come from division one programs. Ehegartner is a midfielder coming from Drake University, and Gonzalez is coming from the University of New Mexico. Williams will enter Pitt State as a forward, coming from Laramie County Community College in Wyoming.

    Pitt State women’s soccer will kickoff its first exhibition game on Saturday, August 17th at 3 p.m. against Johnson County.
