    Hutchinson Community College of Cosmetology students giving free back-to-school haircuts

    HUTCHINSON, Kan. (KSNW) — Hutchinson Community College of Cosmetology students, as well as local cosmetologists and barbers, will be giving out free back-to-school haircuts.

    Students in pre-k through senior year in Reno County can get their free haircut from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 12, at the Hutchinson Community College of Cosmetology, 200 E. 3rd Ave.

    Appointments are not necessary and are on a first come first serve basis.

    Kansas Highway Patrol troopers to inspect buses ahead of first day of school

    “This day is a highlight of the year for us and our students,” said HutchCC’s Cosmetology Program Coordinator Alex Hass. “We look forward to offering this each year and are excited to help those in our community prepare for the upcoming school year.”
