CROOKSTON MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS VISITING WASHINGTON D.C.
Crookston Middle School students are in Washington, D.C. They left Crookston early Monday morning and hit the ground running as they saw some of the monuments. They made it a great day on the first day of the trip. Teacher Steve Kofoed said it was a long day, but the kids represented Crookston very well, learned some things, and hopefully had fun. Amazon Fresh at Potomac Yard to Open Friday
The Amazon Fresh store at Potomac Yard in Alexandria will open July 25, the company announced. The store, at 3801 Richmond Hwy., takes place of the Shoppers food store, which closed in early 2020. Amazon fresh announced later that year that it had plans to open there, but those plans went on pause in 2023 as Amazon retooled the format and product mix of Amazon Fresh Stores, and reconsidered some of its real estate deals.
