Sioux Falls woman charged for involvement in Jan. 6 Capitol riot
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - A Sioux Falls business owner has been charged for participating in the January 6th riot at the United States Capitol in Washington, D.C. According to court documents, a South Dakota resident tipped off the FBI after overhearing Amy Rebekah Willis of Sioux Falls bragging about being inside the U.S. Capitol building on January 6th, 2021. The conversation took place inside Willis’s herbalist retail sales company in Sioux Falls, which she has owned since 2011.

Suspect detained in Rockville armed robbery
Montgomery County police responded to a report of an armed robbery in Rockville Wednesday night, July 17, 2024. The robbery was reported in the 12500 block of Village Square Terrace at 9:50 PM Wednesday. @DCNewsLive on Twitter reported that a vehicle was later pulled over by police on Old Georgetown Road at the interchange with I-495 in Bethesda.
