Chukundi Salisbury Jr. on his journey to Howard University and Future Aspirations
Recent high school graduate and Converge Media production intern Chukundi Salisbury Jr. appeared on "The Day with Trae" to discuss his acceptance to Howard University and his aspirations for the future. Salisbury, who will attend Howard in the fall, expressed his excitement about becoming a "baby bison" and shared his experiences visiting the campus and participating in freshman orientation events.

RECRUITING: Fleming was an unranked recruit out of Northern (Owings, Md.) in the 2020 class. He had several smaller schools at the Division II level after him, but he elected to walk on at hometown Maryland.

SCG Development held a groundbreaking event on July 17 for the first phase of a two-phase new affordable housing development in Northern Virginia. Somos at McLean Metro Phase A will be a new construction mid-rise multi-family rental housing community for lower-income households. Macy’s emerges from takeover attempt
After a months-long parade of shocking closings at Westfield Montgomery mall, this week we have some good news about who’s staying open: Macy’s. The 166-year-old department store chain has successfully fought off a hostile takeover that would likely have resulted in the sale of its valuable real estate portfolio. Instead of being dismantled, Macy’s says it can now carry out a turnaround plan that includes closing some 150 underperforming locations (not ours) and upgrading the stores that remain (probably ours). Macy’s also is overhauling its collection of private-label brands, including the introduction of several new lines (On 34th and State of Day so far) and the just-announced relaunch of kids’ brand Epic Threads. More new lines will be rolling out in the months ahead.
