Western Ky. broadcasting company adds Madisonville radio stations
MADISONVILLE, Ky. (KT) — A western Kentucky-based media broadcasting company has added radio stations in Madisonville to its array of operations. The Edge Media Group has announced the acquisition of Sound Broadcasters of Madisonville. Sound Broadcasters is owned and operated by Bob Kelley and his family. The company includes WFMW 730 AM and 107.7 FM, 93.9 WKTG-FM, Mad Mix 105.9 and The Drive Classic Hits 94.9.
Cathryn Brown poised to build off of freshman season at Kentucky

Battletown Blowout continues to bring community together
Battletown Community Park hosted their annual “Battletown Blowout” on Saturday, June 29th. The yearly summer celebration is a free event the Board of Directors holds to bring the community together and help raise donations to fund the festivities and future improvements to the small park. Although the event name has changed a few times over the years, there has been a community picnic at this location nearly every year since the park was created in 1969, just one year after a board of directors was originally elected by the community to help fulfill the dream of having a local park.

Bob’s Drive-In celebrates 75 years of business on July 3
PADUCAH — Bob’s Drive-In on the southside of Paducah celebrated 75 years in business on Wednesday with a couple of hours of free ice cream and fun for the family. Originally, the restaurant was one of the first Dairy Queens in the surrounding five states, but it eventually simply became “Bob’s.”
