A place of hope: Second Safe Haven Baby Box installed in Westfield
First passed in 2000, the Indiana Safe Haven Law allows a person to surrender their infant anonymously without fear of arrest or prosecution. In 2017, Indiana expanded the Safe Haven Law to allow for baby boxes at hospitals, and in 2018 those locations were expanded to include fire stations with available 24/7 emergency medical services.
Five Sycamores named to WGCA All-American Scholar Team
CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. - Five Indiana State women's golfers from the 2023-24 season have been named to the WGCA All-American Scholar Team, announced on Monday. Eliza Baker, Iyoun Chew, Sophia Florek, Molly Lee, and Yang Tai are the five Sycamores earning the recognition. Chew and Lee earned a spot on the team for the second-straight season while Baker, Florek, and Tai are first-time recipients.
Sakbun and Farro Swimming in the 2024 Olympics

A new Burlington store is coming to downtown Indianapolis
Burlington Stores, a national discount retailer known for carrying major brand names for a fraction of the price, will open a new downtown Indianapolis location this fall. Burlington, formerly known as Burlington Coat Factory, will open in the basement of the Claypool Court building at 110 West Washington Street.
