    Guns, drugs lead to arrest of Bedford County man on probation

    BEDFORD COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — Rifles, shotguns and fentanyl led to the arrest of a Hyndman man who was on probation.

    James Kamauf, 46, was arrested in March after Bedford County Probation visited his home in Londonderry Township and requested state police for drugs and firearms in the residence.

    Police said Kamauf admitted he had multiple firearms and fentanyl inside the home, the charges show. Troopers found Kamauf was a felon not to possess firearms. A search of the home resulted in the following being found:

    • Winchester shotgun
    • Teico Squires Bingham model 14
    • Marlin Model 60
    • Interarms .270 rifle
    • Savage lever action rifle
    • Remmington model 550
    • 20-gauge shotgun
    • Cricket .22
    • 16-gauge shotgun
    • Beretta .22 pistol
    • 9mm pistol
    • Aleve bottle with suspected fentanyl
    • All day allergy relief bottle with suspected fentanyl
    • Black container with suspected fentanyl
    • Black plastic straw
    • Glass smoking devices
    • Gold brass knuckles

    Kamauf was arraigned Monday, July 8 via video from SCI Fayette and bail was set at $100,000.
