Penn State Demolishes Barn Near Research Center
Penn State recently removed one of the old barns it owns in Ferguson Township, citing severe storm damage as the reason for its demolition. Barn 103, which is known to Centre County locals as the Melvin Peters barn, was located on Route 45 near the Ag Progress Days site. Work to remove the barn began on July 1.
