The Clearwater Historical Society held its biannual fish fry on May 1, 2021. The event proved to be a resounding success, with long lines of people waiting for tasty plates of fried fish, fries, coleslaw, grits and hushpuppies. Attendees could follow this feast with an orange ice cream cone provided by Dairy Kurl.
Golf’s brave new world

The City of Clearwater Parks & Recreation Volunteer Program is gearing up to celebrate Earth Day 2021!. This year marks the 51st Anniversary of the holiday which takes place on April 22. Earth Day is more than just a one-day celebration, as the parks & recreation department works year-round to ensure the brightest and most beautiful city with the help of our fantastic volunteer community. This year the city’s volunteer program is teaming up with community members and local organizations to host several initiatives around the city. Initiatives consist of invasive plant removals, park plantings, and litter pickups.

Crest Lake Park Renovations Complete
A new bright and beautiful park now greets residents and visitors heading into downtown Clearwater. The $5.7 million makeover of Crest Lake Park makes it the city’s newest signature parks.
