If you are going to have a large cat like that, food should be 100% in YOUR control. If my cats hissed at me when I got near their food, they would become permanent outdoor cats without hesitation, and they're legitimate house cats. Too many people nowadays just can't wait to tell other people about their "exotic" pet, but then have no idea how to properly take care of it
