Sammy Hagar Launches Van Halen-Focused 2024 Tour: Video, Set List
Sammy Hagar kicked off the Best of All Worlds tour last night in West Palm Beach with a 21-song set packed with Van Halen classics. Hagar was accompanied by longtime musical partners Michael Anthony, Joe Satriani and Jason Bonham, plus multi-instrumentalist Rai Thistlethwayte. After an introductory video full of musical, backstage and award show moments from Hagar's career played on the massive screen behind the stage, the band launched into "Good Enough," the opening track from 5150, Hagar's first album with Van Halen.

On Saturday (July 13) at 6:13 PM, at least seven popping noises reverberated at the campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. Secret Service agents were seen tackling and covering Trump who was at his podium speaking when the popping noises took place and he immediately grabbed his ear almost instantaneously after the popping sounds were made. Trump was photographed bloodied on his ear, cheek and teeth.

Gosh darn it, after avoiding Stop & Shop for decades, the one location that recently lured me back as a shopper is on it's way out, as well as four others in Connecticut. The Stop & Shop supermarkets in Waterbury, Watertown, and Naugatuck turned me off so many times that I stopped going to any of their locations for years. I moved to Torrington 3 years ago, and guess what's a mile away from my place? The Stop & Shop located at 211 High Street in downtown Torrington. It's a relic, the soda aisle usually smelled like old fish, but it's a big store that has anything you want in stock, unlike Cumby, Dollar General, or the corner bodega. Well, my store is closing for good by November 2, 2024. In fact, five Stop & Shop supermarkets in Connecticut have been marked for permanent closure according to nbcconnecticut.com.
