A “wealth of experience” and three months in an interim role has led to the appointment of a new CEO at Ball Ventures in Idaho Falls .

The company announced on July 31 that it had named Rick Bozzelli as its new permanent CEO after an extensive nationwide search. Bozzelli held the role in an interim capacity since April 2024 when the previous CEO, Corney Liddiard, retired.

Prior to being the interim CEO, Bozzelli gained experience through nearly 40 years from various industries, including banking, investments and nonprofits. He is a native Philadelphian and earned a bachelor’s degree from The University of Alabama and a master’s degree in International Tax Program from New York University and in Executive in Residence from Birmingham Southern College.

According to Ball Ventures, the new CEO has been the chairman, president and CEO of TAB Bank, chief financial officer and treasurer of FJ Management, CFO and treasurer of EBSCO Industries, Inc. and been on the board of directors of various enterprises and charitable nonprofits.

“Rick has a wealth of experience that will serve Ball Ventures well in this next chapter,” said Allen Ball, the founder of the company. “I am incredibly proud of what Ball Ventures has accomplished over the past 22 years and cannot wait to see what lies ahead for the company under Rick’s leadership.”

Bozzelli said he was thrilled to accept the CEO position, expressing gratitude to the board and Ball family for giving him the opportunity to lead.

“Over the past 18 months as a board member and more recently Ball Ventures’ interim CEO, I’ve gained tremendous respect for Team BV, and our real estate and financial partners,” Bozzelli said. “I’m looking forward to collaborating with our team to propel our vision, foster innovation, drive investment performance and exceed our strategic goals.”
