Veterans ride set for July 20
ELK CITY — An Elk City-Idaho County Sheriff’s Office Veterans Ride is set for July 20. This is for all, veterans and nonveterans. The 9 a.m. run is for ATVs, UTVs and Jeeps. Multiple routes will be set for the varying vehicle sizes. The event will include prizes, a 5 p.m. dinner (free for veterans) is $10 and includes burgers, hot dogs, salads and sides. Music with a deejay starts at 7 p.m., with everyone invited to join the fun for free.
CIAA meeting is Aug. 1
KAMIAH — The Central Idaho Art Association (CIAA) will have a general meeting at 10 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 1, at Sharon and Doug Boomer’s place at 146 Pine Road, Kamiah. CIAA will discuss the upcoming Idaho County Fair and Kamiah BBQ Days. After the meeting, they will have a paint-out at Boomer’s. Bring your paint-out supplies. All members, artists, patrons of the arts are welcome to join.
