Table Rock fire controlled, cause under investigation

Update: The Boise Fire Department contained a grass fire below Table Rock in less than an hour on Saturday.

The Department says crews responded at 9:19 p.m. and the fire was contained and controlled by 10:06 p.m.

No structures were threatened, but a Code Red was issued to notify nearby residents.

Boise Fire says there were no injuries or damage to property. The cause is still under investigation.

Original Story: Flames have been seen on the hillside of Table Rock.

Emergency crews responded at 9:18 p.m. according to City of Boise Pulsepoint.

Crews were still listed as on scene on Pulsepoint as of 10:55 p.m. on Saturday, but flames were no longer visible from the Old Idaho Penitentiary parking lot as of 9:55 p.m.
