Kohberger to make first Ada County court appearance Thursday afternoon
BOISE, Idaho — This story originally appeared in the Idaho Press. Bryan Kohberger is scheduled to make his first court appearance in Ada County on Thursday afternoon. Kohberger, the man charged with killing four University of Idaho students in November 2022, has a status conference on 2 p.m. Thursday at the Ada County Courthouse, in Boise, in front of District Judge Steven Hippler, according to online court records. It will be Kohberger's first court appearance since being transferred to Ada County from Latah County, where the killings occurred, on Sept. 15 after Second District Judge John C. Judge granted a change of venue for the high-profile murder trial.
